Starting My Diary and 2025 Goal

The new year is here, and I wanted to try something new.

So, I’ve decided to start a diary.

I started blogging back in 2012. At the time, I was just beginning my career in web development. I experimented with free blogging platforms like Ameba Blog, trying to figure out how to drive traffic to my posts.

Over time, I dove deep into SEO, and my blogging focus shifted from writing for myself to writing for others—creating content that met search intent and ranked well on search engines.

But this diary is different. It’s not for SEO or rankings. It’s just for me.

The goal is to enjoy writing as a creative outlet.

I plan to write about my projects, tools and technologies I’m excited about, challenges at work, and my thoughts on SEO and digital marketing.

The only goal is simple: keep writing.

Q1 Goals

Today’s main topic is my goals for the first quarter of 2025.

During the New Year holidays, I reflected on my goals using First Goal Achievement Notebook by Takashi Harada. Here’s what I came up with:

By March 30, 2025, I will develop an AI agent that creates text better than humans can and produces it at scale.

I’ll implement it on my website, "heysho.com," and achieve a top 5 ranking for specific keywords (details withheld). At work, I’ll integrate this AI agent to cut outsourcing costs by XX% while increasing SEO traffic from general keywords by 200% year-over-year. On top of that, I hope my wife and colleagues can use this AI agent to improve their workflows or businesses. Through this journey, I aim to establish myself as a leading marketing professional with a strong focus on AI.

This AI agent automates content mapping in Google Sheets. For my personal site, it will generate HTML files based on the content map, allowing me to produce dozens of articles with just one click.

Some people might dismiss mass-produced AI content, but I believe tools like LangChain and LangGraph make it possible to deliver highly relevant and valuable content to target audiences.

By combining my technical skills and SEO expertise, I aim to create something unique and impactful. I’ll share more details about this project in another post.

Join a Breakdancing Competition

Keep practicing weekly and enjoy participating in a cypher at a competition.

Perform in a New Jack Swing Showcase

Continue weekly dance lessons and take part in a showcase performance this year.

Try Beatboxing, Rapping, and Stand-Up Comedy

I’ve always wanted to try these but thought they were out of reach. This year, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to explore creative activities and enrich my life.

Wrapping Up

I spent about an hour writing this diary at a café, and it felt great to clear my thoughts and refresh my mind.

Next week, I’ll be snowboarding, so I might skip a post. But I’ll do my best to stay consistent with this diary.
