Blog about Working Abroad

This blog was created to share the experience in working abroad, studying abroad, and learning English.

I continued writing and optimizing those articles for SEO, I aimed to improve search rankings, increase traffic, and earn revenue through affiliate advertising.

1. Project Overview

  • Project Goals:
    • To share know-how on overseas employment, studying abroad, and learning English
    • To improve search rankings and aim for affiliate revenue by implementing SEO measures
  • URL: https://workstudyabroad.net
  • Role: Everything (blog platform building by WordPress, writing, SEO)
  • Results:
    • Highest monthly PV - 23,900
    • Highest monthly revenue - 190,000 yen

2. Reason for Starting the Blog

Originally started as a hobby blog while living abroad, posting articles mainly on work experiences and travel information abroad, as well as topics related to learning English.

As I began receiving more inquiries from readers aiming for working abroad, I shifted the blog's focus to support Japanese people aiming to work abroad.

Additionally, I challenged myself with affiliate program to enhance my SEO and digital marketing skills.

3. Achievements

Data of the 'From Zero to Overseas Employment' blog

Articles based on my own experiences achieved the top search ranking for highly competitive keywords such as "Work in Hawaii", "Work in Australia", "Work in Singapore", and "Work in Philippines Employment".

By introducing the recruitment agencies that I used, I was able to earn about 50,000 to 100,000 yen per month in affiliate revenue (up to 190,000 yen).

4. Current Operation

Since I returned to Japan in 2017, updates have stopped, but I keep it as a memento filled with many memories.

If anyone is currently challenging to work abroad and would like to take over this blog, I am considering passing it on, so please let me know if you are interested.
